Your Ideal Pocket Monster Tales: Z-A Super Form Based on Your Zodiac Sign
This comeback of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited widespread enthusiasm within the fandom. From the one-by-one reveal of fresh additions ahead of the game's launch, to trainers forming firm opinions on the full roster of new Megas, there's plenty for enthusiasts to look forward to.
Given many of the Super Forms showcasing unique designs that emphasize their traits, one thought came to mind: How can link this with zodiac signs? This list is based on a blend of intuition, common zodiac traits, and personal experience.
The Ram – Mega Camerupt
To be truthful, Houndoom was almost chosen for Aries, as both are the Mega Pokémon and astrological sign that evoke the most fear. But, a Super Houndoom comes across as constantly furious, which isn't typical of the Ram's energy, renowned for being fun, cheerful, and impulsive. That's why the Ram far more akin to Super Camerupt, which only spews lava when angered. Stay on the good side of either and benefit from a powerful ally; if you cross them, prepare to get burned.
The Bull – Mega Heracross
Similar to a devoted Bull, the steadfast Heracross, both in its standard and Mega form, has aided many players in Legends: Z-A. Though trustworthy, each the creature and a Bull are still battle-oriented, and – whether it's their companion or a strong opinion – will defend their position to the end. The thing about Mega Heracross that reminds me most of my Bull-sign companions, though, is its unabashed love of snacks. Several past official descriptions note their craving for sweet tree sap and how it employs its appendage to collect it everything, which is true Taurus energy.
Gemini – Mega Medicham
Look at this total queen. You cannot tell me this creature is not the life of every party, providing an constant stream of chatter to anyone who wants to hear. Much like an captivating, gregarious Twins, it's very easy to imagine Super Medicham captivating an entire Wild Zone with their stories. Medicham’s Pokédex entry also mentions its capacity to foresee an opponent's next moves, which sounds quite similar to a people-smart Twins.
The Crab – Super Manectric
The Crab is commonly considered as the most sensitive sign of the astrological wheel, a passionate symbol famous for often getting wrapped up in their feelings. Per the official info, Super Evolution fills the creature with a “huge quantity of energy, but it's too much for this Pokémon to completely control,” which sounds a lot like a typical Crab emotional outburst. It is also recognized for its capability to make a storm cloud over its own self – and if there’s one thing a Cancer is going to do, it’s spoil their own parade.
The Lion – Mega Starmie
Well, did you assume I was planning to select Pyroar for the lion of the stars? Aside from the fact that it would be much too obvious, Leo is obviously Mega Starmie, the star whose legs just went viral for being extremely glamorous (or terrifying, depending on your taste). Players couldn’t look away from the purple starfish, and that’s precisely the same energy a Leo offers to the scene. This Pokémon is also said to be transmitting radio waves from its red core out into space, and it’s typical of a Leo to be putting on a show, albeit for aliens.
The Maiden – Mega Victreebel
The ever-prepared and perpetually-anxious Virgo is perfectly represented in Super Victreebel, the Super Form with constant acid reflux. The sign known for being endearingly judgmental is clearly reflected throughout this creature's entire evolutionary chain, from a always shocked face like a Virgo when you tell them you don’t have a 401(k), to its inverted visage that’s similar to the symbol a Maiden sends to the chatroom when everyone says they want to “go with the flow” instead of making a plan.
Libra – Mega Audino
Observe this gentle, empathetic creature, who uses the feelers on its auditory organs to detect how others are feeling by their heartbeat. Consistently empathetic – sometimes to a detriment – and striving to maintain the harmony, there are numerous Scales who would likely benefit from Mega Audino’s skills. However, to be frank, it would probably just cause them to worry even more about others.
The Scorpion – Mega Banette
This Ghost-type is a Pokémon with a unexpectedly sad origin: Discarded as a doll, it gained consciousness through sheer hatred and vowed retribution on its previous caretaker. Per the Pokédex, Mega Evolution, “enhances its vindictiveness.” That seems exactly like several conversations I’ve had with my intense Scorpion friends. A Scorpio loves karma and comeuppance, making them the perfect match with Super Banette.
The Archer – Super Hawlucha
Each Super Hawlucha and Archers are constantly putting on a show. Being a Sagittarius personally, the number of occasions I’ve called myself some version of a “playful little jester” is innumerable. The most flamboyant and most obnoxious Super Form, its Pokédex entry even notes how it “poses to show off its power.” I would do the exact same thing if I had a Mega evolved form, making Mega Hawlucha the most fitting Sagittarius counterpart I can imagine.
The Goat – Mega Absol
Were you aware that a Super Absol has the power to foresee calamities ahead of time? That gives the identical vibe as a Goat, who tends to consistently think they’re correct. The thing is, similar to a visionary Super Absol, they often are. It’s also the absolute initial Super Form that players meet in Legends: Z-A – typical of a Capricorn to join the beginning of the Super Form craze.
Aquarius – Mega Chandelure
Aloof air sign Aquarius is possibly the non-fire sign that is most like a flame symbol – its sister sign is the Lion, and there are numerous jokes about Sagittarius and Water Bearer being unpredictable accomplices. Mega Chandelure’s double Ghost/Fire category fits perfectly with this, and the Mega’s general intimidating aura is also extremely Aquarius. If you weren’t already convinced, the Super Form's Pokédex entry says it “draws in hatred and converts it into strength.” If that doesn’t perfectly {encaps
