Vince Zampella, a Gaming Pioneer, Has Passed Away in a Los Angeles Traffic Collision

The co-creator of Call of Duty, renowned for co-creating the wildly popular franchise Call of Duty, has died in a traffic collision in the state of California at the age of 55.

Zampella's death was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the development studio that he helped create.

The celebrated video game developer passed away following his automobile collided and was engulfed in flames on a motorway in LA on Sunday, US media outlets report.

"We are facing an unimaginable loss, and our deepest sympathies go to Vince's family, his family, and the countless individuals inspired by his creative vision," a representative from Electronic Arts stated.
