Loyal followers of the actress are demanding that a individual who jumped a barricade and grabbed the actress during yesterday's Wicked: For Good premiere be taken into custody or removed from Singapore.

A widely shared clip depicts the individual from Australia pushing past camera operators and rushing toward Grande while the cast walked down a event pathway accompanied by supporters.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo promptly guided the shocked actress away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being led away of the premiere by event staff.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "free after being taken in", though legal records indicated that he was due to be present on the next day. It is unknown if he was formally accused.

History of Incidents

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Notorious Troublemaker", has invaded a performance. His Instagram profile includes clips of him disrupting other high-profile occasions, including breaching the performance area at Katy Perry's Sydney show in earlier this year and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers event in the city last December.

"Steps should be implemented taken against him as this is obviously a legal violation," stated an Instagram follower, in a reply to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his act.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" another Instagram user remarked.

Followers Express Concern Over Grande's Past Trauma

Numerous fans blamed Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had discussed experiencing trauma-related anxiety after a suicide bomb attack at the finale of her spring 2017 concert in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and harming numerous individuals.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" said a further comment on Instagram.

Several supporters also faulted event staff at the Thursday event for not being adequately prepared; while some requested digital services to remove Mr Wen's videos.

Aftermath and Premiere Information

In clips circulating online, Grande appeared startled when she was touched by the man. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed consoling her while Mr Wen was led out by security.

Grande has not issued a statement on the situation, and the remaining proceedings continued without further issues.

Fans at Wicked premiere
Hundreds of Singapore fans had lined up to greet the performers of Wicked

Many of fans had gathered in a sea of emerald and rose at the Wicked: For Good international launch in a Singapore mall, including several who had stood in line for as long as a significant duration before it started.

The motion picture, to be premiered on November 21, is the sequel of a two-film interpretation of the acclaimed theatrical production Wicked, which revolves around the surprising bond between two distinct sorceresses.

The production itself is a spin-off of the classic book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who plays the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was decked out in a rosé sparkling outfit at the premiere while Erivo, who plays the villainous character, wore a elegant ensemble embroidered with roses.

They were accompanied by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The previous installment, Wicked, was the highest-grossing movie of last year in the UK, and received 10 Academy Award nods, securing several for outstanding attire and production design.
