In a unexpected collaboration that breaks usual forecasts, Ubisoft has announced an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Mission Revealed
According to the formal statement, "A mysterious meeting leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where whispers of prohibited rituals and monstrous metamorphoses echo through the darkness." The narrative presents a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a clandestine cult.
The questline concentrates on "strange trials and a monstrous adversary" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Familiar Places and Metamorphoses
The trailer showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer concludes with a dramatic sequence showing a character, likely the captive, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who finish the adventure will obtain an unique katana together with numerous objects hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
